เมื่อวันที่ 25 มีนาคม 2569 เวลา 09.00 น. รศ.ดร.ภญ. จันทร์ทิพย์ กาญจนศิลป์ รองอธิการบดี รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิชาการและนวัตกรรม
การเรียนรู้ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดงานการประชุมวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ “The 19th International Conference of Young Algebraists in Thailand (ICYAT 2026)” ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดย คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม โดยมี รศ.ดร.สุนันท์ สายกระสุน คณบดีคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ กล่าวรายงานวัตถุประสงค์การจัดงาน
การประชุมวิชาการระดับนานาชาติในครั้งนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจากวิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิที่เดินทางมาจากหลากหลายประเทศ ได้แก่ ประเทศเยอรมนี สาธารณรัฐเช็ก อินโดนีเซีย และจากทั่วประเทศไทย โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมงานจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 100 คน และมีผู้นำเสนอผลงานจำนวน 24 คน
การจัดงาน ICYAT 2026 มีวัตถุประสงค์สำคัญเพื่อส่งเสริมและขยายองค์ความรู้ทางด้านคณิตศาสตร์ โดยเฉพาะในสาขาพีชคณิต (Algebra) ซึ่งถือเป็นเสาหลักพื้นฐานที่สำคัญของวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี เป็นเวทีให้นักคณิตศาสตร์ ได้มีเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนและนำเสนอผลงานวิชาการ

Faculty of Science, MSU Hosts International Algebra Conference “ICYAT 2026,” Welcoming Young Mathematicians from Around the World
On March 25, 2026, at 09:00 a.m., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juntip Kanjanasilp, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Learning Innovation, Mahasarakham University, presided over the opening ceremony of “The 19th International Conference of Young Algebraists in Thailand (ICYAT 2026),” hosted by the Faculty of Science, Mahasarakham University. At the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sunan Saikrasun, Dean of the Faculty of Science, delivered the reporting speech outlining the objectives of the conference.
This international conference was honored by distinguished speakers from various countries, including Germany, the Czech Republic, Indonesia, and across Thailand. The event brought together a total of 100 participants and featured 24 presenters.
The main objective of ICYAT 2026 is to promote and expand mathematical knowledge, particularly in the field of Algebra, which is a fundamental pillar of science and technology. It also serves as a platform for mathematicians to exchange knowledge and present their academic research.
