Sustainable Agriculture by Science: SDGs
According to the project “Development of Smart Organic Farming Platform for Salad Greens in Maha Sarakham Province”, the Faculty of Science researchers consisted of Dr Surasak Khankham, Asst. Prof. Dr. Waraporn Suthisar, Asst. Prof. Dr. Noppakhun Phakdeenarong and Asst. Prof. Dr Piyanet Chanthiratikul collaborated with researchers from Mahasarakham Business School (MBS) to improve agricultural production. They tested the use of Super Plant Supplement, a bio-plant supplement that accelerates plant root growth, strengthens the root system and absorbs nutrients and minerals more efficiently. The result can be evidently seen from the experiments in the real plantation of farmers at “Nai Krung Salad garden”, Rai Ruam Phung, Payak Phumipisai District, Maha Sarakham Province, and “Khun Oak Salad garden” Chiang Yuen District, Mahasarakham Province.
