เมื่อวันที่ 22 สิงหาคม 2566 ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ไพโรจน์ ประมวล ได้ให้การต้อนรับ Prof. Andrei Volodin (Visiting Professor), Prof. Sanghoo Yoon พร้อมด้วยทีมงาน ในโอกาสที่คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ จัดโครงการบรรยายพิเศษ เรื่อง “Beyond Guesswork: Statistical & Mathematical Models in Climate Science” ณ ห้องประชุมทานตะวัน SC1-200 คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม และได้รับเกียรติจากวิทยากรบรรยายพิเศษ ได้แก่
1) Prof. Andrei Volodin (Visiting Professor) จาก Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Regina, Canada บรรยายเรื่อง On the Birnbaum-Saunders distribution and new applications to Extreme Value.
2) Prof. Sanghoo Yoon จาก Department of Statistics, Daegu University, South Korea บรรยายเรื่อง The generalized additive value extremes for annual maximum precipitation in Korean peninsular.
3) Asst.Prof. Palakorn Seenoi Department of Statistics, Khon Kaen University, Thailand บรรยายเรื่อง Regression Model for Lifetime Data
4) Dr. Nonthiwat Taesuk Department of Biology, Mahasarakham University, Thailand บรรยายเรื่อง Species distribution modelling and its applications
